Welcome to our FAQ page! Here, you’ll find important information about our booking and deposit policies. We kindly ask that you read through these details before requesting an appointment to ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience at Kelz Ink.
How much does a tattoo cost?
I do not have a fixed hourly rate. When you send a request with details and examples, I will reply with an estimated quote for the design. Please note that changes in size, color, or placement may affect the overall cost of the tattoo.
My minimum charge is $100.
Nonrefundable Deposit:
The nonrefundable deposit is $100 or 25% of the estimated quote, whichever is greater.
– When the deposit is received, the design process begins, and your appointment day/time is confirmed. Please be deposit-ready when I follow up, as I cannot hold days or times for anyone without a deposit
What payment methods do you accept?
I accept various payment methods, including credit/debit cards (3% fee charge), PayPal – send via Friends & Family, Zelle, and Venmo.
Where is your studio?
Kelz studio is located in Marietta, Georgia off Powder Springs Rd near the square in a private studio.
Directions will be sent when an appointment is confirmed.
Can I bring a friend?
Of course! My studio can accomodate up to 4 guests. No children are permitted in the studio.
What do you recommend for cleaning my new tattoo?
I recommend Dial Soap(antibacterial) or hibiclens. These items are easily accesible at any store that carries hygenic products.
Always wash hands for 30 seconds with warm water and antibacterial soap prior to touching your tattoo.
Will I see the design before my appointment?
Design submissions are final and seen day of appointment. However, rest assured that each appointment is scheduled with enough time for you to review and revise small details as needed.
Are Touchups included?
Yes! Touchups for tattoos are included in your quote for the initial touchup. Further touchups in the future may be at 25% charge of the total tattoo.
No call / no shows to touchup appointments will be charged for their next touchup appointment the equal cost of a new tiny tattoo.
Touchups for Permanent makeup are not included.

Reschedule / No Show Policy
The following will result in a forfeit of your deposit:
– No call/No show
– Less than 48hr notice of cancellation/reschedule
– Tardiness of more than 15 minutes
– Rescheduling more than two times
– Changing design/placement/size/budget without proper notice (48 hours)

Can I use numbing cream?
Of course! Some artists are not for numbing creams, however, I believe it can make some sessions way more efficient for everyone involved. I recommend over the counter products

Cleans the skin with dial soap, – do not shave – , apply numbing cream, wrap with clean saran wrap. Set for 30 minutes to 1 hours prior to appointment.
What should I use to moisturize?
I recommend Aquaphor or Cerave healing ointment in a tube to prevent double dipping with dirty fingers.
Always wash hands for 30 seconds with warm water and antibacterial soap prior to touching your tattoo. It is very easy to transfer bacteria from one part of your body to another. Taking sanitation seriously will help prevent infection of your new tattoo. Treating it like a wound is the best bet. However, do not recover your tattoo once you remove the second skin or medical saran wrap.
